Enjoy a summer recital with the Metropolitan Opera for SummerStage 2021.
One of New York’s most iconic cultural institutions, the Metropolitan Opera will return to Central Park for its 12th year on August 8. The company will present a Summer Recital featuring Met Opera Stars in an evening of arias and duets from some of opera’s most beloved works.
Performers this year include:
- Leah Hawkins, soprano
- Paul Appleby, tenor
- Will Liverman, baritone
- Bryan Wagorn, piano
Date: Sunday August 8th, 2021
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Location: Rumsey Playfield, Central Park
Tickets: SummerStage will no longer require tickets for free performances as of June 30. Admission is first come, first serve. All free performances will be open to the public, general admission will be subject to venue capacity limits, and will follow CDC recommendations for health and safety related to COVID-19.

Please note that re-entry is not permitted to these shows once you exit the venue.

Staggered timed entry to reduce entrance crowding will be assigned closer to the date of the event.
