The Best Block Party in NYC: Museum Mile Festival
The Museum Mile Festival is a free, annual evening event where several museums along Fifth Avenue, from 82nd to 110th Street, open their doors to the public. This stretch, officially designated “Museum Mile” by New York City, is celebrated for its cultural diversity and exceptional art institutions.
During the festival, Fifth Avenue is closed to vehicular traffic, transforming the area into a pedestrian-friendly block party. Visitors can enjoy live street performances, art activities for children, food vendors, and much more.
The event takes place rain or shine and is open to all. No registration required!
