The Harlem Meer Summer Festival kicks off with Latin jazz presented by MOTI.
Join the Central Park Conservancy for an extraordinary event as Music on the Inside unites acclaimed jazz performers with previously incarcerated musicians to inaugurate the Harlem Meer Summer Festival on July 16th.
This performance will showcase Oscar Feldman's Latin Jazz Machine featuring jazz singer Marion Cowings and musician Dawud Rahman. (shown above)
At Music on the Inside, the aim is to create a bridge between young individuals and adults affected by incarceration and accomplished musicians. Through the remarkable ability of music to inspire change and promote emotional well-being, they foster hope and healing.
The Festival takes place on the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center plaza, inside Central Park at 110th Street (Central Park North) between Lenox Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
This is a FREE event. No tickets or reservations needed.
