Opening of the Under the Canopy Exhibit for Earth Day

Under the shade of the 24,000-plus trees found in Central Park, nature-lovers can learn to appreciate these leafy structures on Thursday, April 22nd from 6:30-8PM.
In honor of Earth Day, trained professionals and tree experts will be on hand for the opening of the Central Park Conservancy's newest exhibit, "Under the Canopy: Caring for Central Park's Trees" at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center at 110th Street between 5th and Lenox Avenues. These experts will share the ins and outs of maintaining the 152 tree species that live in the park.
