Park Jams features legendary artists of the genre, emphasizing the immeasurable impact the Black community has had on music and New York City. Join SummerStage for performances from DJ Premier, widely considered one of the best producers of all time, having worked with The Notorious B.I.G., Rakim, Janet Jackson, and others; recipient of the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award, NYC’s own DJ Grandmaster Flash, an icon who has had a long-lasting impact on the genre along with his group the Furious Five; GRAMMY-winning DJ, producer and SummerStage alumnus Kid Capri; and other performers including DJ SpinKing, Diamond Kuts, and DJ Nyla.
