Parks Uncommon Ground Lecture Series: The History & Evolution of Gardening Tools
to
Any gardener knows that the tools that plant the tree, make the tree.
Learn about the history and evolution of gardening and maintenance equipment and tools on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 6 PM- 8 PM. A lecture, hosted by Mark K. Morrison, will be held at the Arsenal in Central Park, located at 830 5th Avenue. Hear about these tools and see them demonstrated first hand so that you too can help New York City reach its goal to plant one million trees in April.
Although free, attendees must RSVP by calling (212) 360-1324 or e-mailing rsvp@parks.nyc.gov.
