Shakespeare in the Park 2020: Richard II

Due to coronavirus, all Shakespeare in the Park performances for 2020 are canceled.
Shakespeare's Richard II is a story of "lost sovereignty, political intrigue, and psychological complexity", according to the press release. The drama details the life of King Richard II at the end of the Medieval Ages. It is one of Shakespeare’s only works written entirely in verse.
The performance takes place in the open-air Delacorte Theater in the park.
There are a limited amount of reserved seats available in order to keep the majority of seats available for free.
Free tickets will be distributed every day there is a public performance for that evening's performance. Tickets will be available via the traditional in-person line at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, plus a daily in-person lottery in the lobby of The Public's flagship at 425 Lafayette, a daily online lottery, and in-person distribution locations throughout the five boroughs. Dates: May 19th to June 21st, 2020.
Location: Delacorte Theater, Central Park. Enter at 81st Street and Central Park West or 79th Street and Fifth Ave.
