Soapbox Science: Free Talks at the Bandshell
Learn about numerous topics at this free exciting science talk event!
“How to Discover Alien Worlds,” “The Stinging Sea Flowers,” and “How Birds Are Coping in Our Cities” are among the talks to be held at the organization's first NYC event.
The talks, free and open to the public, will feature scientists from NYU and the City University of New York (CUNY), who are organizing the event, along with others from Columbia University, Memorial Sloan Kettering, the European Space Agency, the American Museum of Natural History, and Yale University.
Other talks include: “Combining Nanotechnology and Imaging to Tackle Kids’ Cancer,” “Adapting to City Life: Lessons from Lanternflies to Lizards,” and “How Are We Human?”
No RSVP is required.
