Join in on the fun at Tavern's 9th annual Christmas tree lighting.
Every year, Tavern on the Green hosts an enchanting Christmas Tree Lighting event, featuring a dazzling 20-foot holiday tree adorned with more than 2,000 ornaments and 10,000 lights. It's a beloved neighborhood tradition that welcomes both visitors and locals alike for a free night out.
The evening includes live performances by holiday carolers, special guest artists, and sometimes even surprise Broadway acts. Families also gather for activities like writing letters to Santa and taking photos in front of the tree.
2025 Christmas Tree Lighting Details
This year's celebration will feature Kelsie Watts, the acclaimed recording artist currently starring as Jayne Seymour in Broadway's Six.
Meet & Greet with Kelsie Watts: 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM
Come for hot chocolate and cookies, plus festive holiday performances, including a special performance by Quarantined Quartet!
Proceeds and donations from this event will go to the West Side Campaign Against Hunger, which provides healthy food choices for neighbors in need.
This event is FREE and open to the public!
