"The Gates" Augmented Reality Experience and Exhibition

Christo and Jeanne-Claude's "The Gates" will return to Central Park in AR form.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of "The Gates" - a public art installation by Christo and Jeanne-Claude in February of 2005 that filled 23 miles of Central Park with 7,305 saffon-colored nylon gates - an augmented reality (AR) experience of the famed installation will bring it back this winter.
How do I experience the installation?
Visitors will need a smartphone to participate. Simply download the Bloomberg Connects app to access the AR experience in Central Park.

When will the installation be live?
The experience starts on February 12th.
Where is the installation located?
The AR experience takes place in Central Park between East 72nd Street and Cherry Hill.
There will also be an exhibition at The Shed opening on February 12th as well, titled: Christo and Jeanne-Claude: The Gates and Unrealized Projects for New York City.
