If entering Central Park from East, the nearest entrance is 102nd Street Entrance. Enter park via 102nd Street Entrance, walk west to East Drive then head north on the East Drive, go past softball fields which will be on your right and the entrance to 102nd Street Transverse (Crossing) will be on your right (approximately 75 yards north of the softball fields).

If entering Central Park from West, the nearest entrance is 100th Street Entrance. Enter park via 100th Street Entrance, walk east to West Drive then head north on the West Drive for approximately 30 yards, the entrance to 102nd Street Transverse (Crossing) will be on your left. Head across the transverse to the East Side Entrance.
