The Central Park Boathouse sits on the east side of the Lake and is where you rent a rowboat during the boating season, which runs from spring through fall. The building also houses a lakeside restaurant and café, along with public restrooms open daily from 7:30 AM to dusk year-round.

The restaurant, formerly called the Loeb Boathouse, has been run by Legends Hospitality since 2023.
