Boating in Central Park
Row a boat or take a gondola ride on the Central Park Lake!
Rent a boat at the Loeb Boathouse and row your way to the heart of the Central Park Lake, the second-largest body of water in Central Park, spanning 20 acres. Ideal for family outings with kids, romantic dates, wedding proposals, or even a picnic on the water!
Row Boat Rentals
The Loeb Boathouse has a fleet of row boats, each of which seats four people. Get a closer view of water fowl that are hard to see from the shore, including the park's famous egrets, herons, and loons. Children may also enjoy helping to row the boat!
Food for Thought: It's common to work up an appetite rowing a boat! Bring a ready-made picnic bag along for the ride, or book a romantic picnic experience to enjoy waterside, just steps away from the Boathouse at Cherry Hill.
