The Untermeyer Fountain is a bronze cast of Walter Schott's Three Dancing Maidens sculpture, located in the Northern section of the Conservatory Garden. It was donated to the park by Samuel Untermeyer's children after his death.
The sculpture gives the impression of three joyful young women, perpetually dancing in the fountain's spray.
Note: Construction in the South (English-style) Garden at Conservatory Garden is in progress. The North (French-style) Garden and Center (Italianate) Garden remain open for the time being.
