November 4, 2024 - This year more than 55,000 runners journeyed through the five boroughs of NYC, making it the largest marathon of all time. More than 2 million spectators and 10,000 volunteers were also a part of the big event.
This year’s champions are Daniel Romanchuk (1:36:31) and Susannah Scaroni (1:48:05), both of the United States, in the wheelchair divisions, and Abdi Nageeye of the Netherlands (2:07:39) and Sheila Chepkirui of Kenya (2:24:35) in the open divisions.
