Mar 15th, 2026 - The 2026 United Airlines NYC Half became the largest half marathon in New York Road Runners history on March 15th, with 30,229 finishers completing the 13.1-mile course from Brooklyn to Central Park.
Hellen Obiri of Kenya won the women's race in event-record time for her third NYC Half title, while Adriaan Wildschutt of South Africa took the men's crown in his New York City racing debut. Eden Rainbow-Cooper of Great Britain and Daniel Romanchuk of the United States claimed the women's and men's wheelchair titles respectively.
The race also marked two firsts for NYRR: the debut of the organization's new logo across all event materials, and the first NYC Half expo held at the Javits Center, which also hosts the TCS NYC Marathon Expo.
