Winners of the Colon Cancer Challenge
The New York Road Runners and the Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation teamed up and organized three different runs through Central Park on Sunday, March 28th. Depending on the level of fitness, runners had the option of a 1.7 mile walk, a 4 mile run and a 15 kilometer race. More than 6,000 participants came out to help raise more than $500,000 for awareness, prevention, patient advocacy and research.
