Today at Apple and the New Museum are teaming up for an augmented reality art [AR]T experience in six global locations, including Central Park, curating seven artists to craft original AR artworks which are experienced via an [AR]T Walk with an iPhone. Walking tours are open to the public in Central Park as well as San Francisco, London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
Installations by artists Nick Cave, Nathalie Djurberg, John Giorno and others will take place in the landscape of the tour, playing with the canvas of public space.
