Oct 13th, 2025 - Wollman Rink is celebrating its 75th ice skating season with a festive weekend full of free skating, live performances, giveaways, and a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest ice-skating lesson.
The rink is inviting 600 skaters to break the current record of 523 participants in a 30-minute lesson led by Skate School instructors. Families and skaters of all levels can join the festivities or register for free skating during the opening weekend from October 24 to 26.
New attractions this season include an upgraded Igloo Village, community programs, and skating lessons for all ages. The rink also offers cozy rinkside igloos and seasonal treats.

Update 10/23/25: The opening festivities have been rescheduled to Sunday, October 26, at noon. Due to this change, the Guinness World Record attempt originally planned for October 25 will also be postponed and moved to a new date later in the 2025–2026 ice season.
