Over 1,200 New Yorkers came out to Central Park's Conservancy Garden, lavishly decked in fanciful hats in support of the 32nd Annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon. The Women's Committee and Board of Trustees of the Central Park Conservancy hosted the event, which opened with a champagne reception under the pergola, followed by tours of the garden and a seated luncheon and awards presentation.
The event, which honored former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, was fully underwritten by the benefit committee, allowing 100 percent of ticket sales to go toward the Conservancy's mission of Park maintenance, restoration and enhancement. To date, the organization has raised $3.5 million.
