Although there are countless regions and locations in New York City for a great photo-op, tourists enjoy snapping away at the serene landscape of Central Park.
Interestingly, this finding does not come from concrete statistical analysis. Instead, Eric Fischer, a computer programmer from Oakland, California, used geo-tagging on picture-sharing websites such as Flickr and Picasa to figure out where tourists and locals are taking pictures in New York City.
The red on the map shows where tourists are taking their pictures. And it is obvious that Central Park is very red!
