Brooklyn's Fort Greene Park and Manhattan's Central Park Zoo are the 18th and 19th New York City park locations to turn on free Wi-Fi service. The company announced a partnership with the Bloomberg Administration last June to offer the service in parks across the five boroughs.
The wildly popular initiative allows any Wi-Fi enabled smartphone and tablet user to connect to the network. In addition, the New York City Parks Department is placing signs at each location to increase awareness among visitors.
