After a light snow season, preparation for spring started early this year in Central Park. Over 200 gardeners, groundskeepers and technicians have been busy seeding 300 acres of lawn, mulching landscape beds, grading miles of bridal path, and preparing the park's 26 baseball & softball fields for opening day on April 6th. The park's ornamental and drinking fountains are also back on after deactivation during the winter months.
