
The 40th Annual Earth Day
Now embarking in its 4th decade of tradition, Earth Day was started to raise awareness about the earth and the importance of a "green" environment.
So where best in New York City to celebrate Earth Day but in the city's greenest spot, Central Park.
There are two main events being hosted in the park. The first is an afternoon session of eco-friendly crafts at the Chess & Checkers House; click here for further details.
