Prince Harry poses with military veterans in Central Park
On his last day of his visit to New York City, Britain's Prince Harry headed to Central Park on a balmy Sunday, June 27, 2010.
The prince was not visiting to merely see the sights; Prince Harry came to walk 1.77 miles with Achilles Freedom Team of wounded veterans in the annual Achilles Hope and Possibility Race.
Hosted by the New York Road Runners, the goal of this race is to unite athletes with disabilities with their able-bodied counterparts. Prince Harry came to do this and to also build a connection with military veterans of the United States and England.
