Aug 27th, 2026 - Central Park's Great Lawn will host the Global Citizen Festival again this year, with the free concert set for Saturday, September 26 at 4 PM.
This year brings a new twist to how attendees can secure tickets. Beyond the usual free lottery earned through the Global Citizen app, festivalgoers can now redeem their earned points for a $25 donation that guarantees entry on the spot. That money goes to the City Parks Foundation, funding free programming in parks across the city.
Great Lawn will shut down to the public about a week ahead of the show so crews can prepare the grounds.
