For the second year running Good Morning America and its famous free Summer Concert Series will be the highlight of Friday mornings during the warmer months of 2010.
Rumsey Playfield, located mid-park at 70th Street will be packed with music-lovers ready to hear the hits from their favorite performers. This year, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato will kick off the season on May 21st as they perform songs from the highly anticipated movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
But the fun doesn't stop with the Disney Channel, as artists slated to perform run the gamut and cover all musical genres, but they all have two things in common: they have chart-topping music and they are gracing the GMA stage.
Other highlights of the lineup include: Sugarland, Diddy, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige and the GO-GO'S. Plus the Black Eyed Peas, Sheryl Crow and Rihanna. There are two dates, July 9th and August 6th, that will have performances that have not been announced yet.
Viewers interested in joining GMA in Central Park should arrive at Rumsey Playfield via the 69th street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6AM when the park opens. All concerts are free and open to the public and will take place live during "Good Morning America," Fridays from 7 - 9AM.
