Did you get to catch Jazz on the Great Hill this past Saturday? The New York Times reported about the planned event, A Jazz, Swing, and Blues Festival celebrating 35 years of Central Park Conservancy.
Expected participants were George Gee Swing Orchestra; the King Solomon Hicks Blues Quintet; Ray Schinnery, a blues guitarist, singer and songwriter; and the actress and singer Ebony Jo-Ann. Activities for the family as well as dancing were being planned.
While most people bring a picnic lunch and a blanket, sample fare from food trucks (including Kimchi Taco, Coolhaus ice cream and Andy’s Italian Ices NYC) were scheduled to be there. To read the entire artcile please click here, to stay up to date with Central Park events, please click here.
