Nov 29, 2023 - Central Park has nearly doubled its record of days without getting one inch of snow in a 24-hour period. According to the National Weather Service New York, that record was 383 days without an inch of snow until March 21, 1998.
The absence of snow has some feeling down about the lack of seasonality, as they reminisce about the past when snow was piled high as parked cars on the street.
There have been some light flurries, but the official measurement requires an inch or more to be recorded between midnight and midnight.
