Mar 9th, 2026 - New York Road Runners will host more than 30,000 runners for the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half on Sunday, March 15th, a 13.1‑mile race from Prospect Park to Central Park that crosses the Brooklyn Bridge and runs through Times Square.
The event features an exciting professional lineup with 27 Olympians and Paralympians, plus an expanded race‑week Expo at the Javits Center, and a free Times Square Kids Run for 1,500 youths.
New sustainability measures include recycled medals, electric pace cars, large‑scale clothing and food donations, and a plogging event.
NYRR’s races, including the NYC Half and TCS New York City Marathon, collectively generate nearly $1 billion in annual economic impact for New York City.
