City officials have announced the closure of Fifth Avenue to all car traffic on December 3, 10, and 17 from noon to 6:00 PM to celebrate the festive season.
The 2023 Open Streets program, which contributed $3 million in spending to local businesses last year, is set to grow this December. This year's expansion not only encompasses the Fifth Avenue corridor but also includes the areas around Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall—key attractions for tourists during the holiday season.
