In a nod to Central Park's nickname, "The People's Park," the Conservancy is asking the people of New York to choose which five films will be shown at the 2013 Central Park Conservancy Film Festival.
Each night of the festival will represent a different genre, and the choices have been narrowed down to four selections for each genre from which voters are asked to choose.
The genres and selections are as follows:

Films are shown in the landscape north of Sheep Meadow, beside the cafe (mid-Park at 69th Street). Enter the Park at 72nd Street. All screenings begin at 8:00 pm, rain or shine, with gates open to the public at 6:30 pm. All movies will be close captioned.
