The New York Times reported today that Pope Francis will be coming through Central Park on September 25th.
New York state residents can apply for two tickets each through a contest organized by the city. Those interested can apply by calling 311 or by visiting NYC.gov between September 3 and September 7. Those who are chosen to receive tickets will receive notification on September 10th.
The Central Park procession along the West Drive will take place before the 6 p.m. Mass at Madison Square Garden.
“The procession through Central Park will give thousands of New Yorkers an opportunity to come face to face with Pope Francis,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a statement.
