CBS New York, reported from the Central Parks Tennis center on Sunday, how this was a chance of a lifetime for many of the people who attended this free clinic. For lovers of tennis, for kids who have a dream, this was an event for them. Also a reminder that the Williams sisters started learning tennis on their public courts in California.
As WCBS 880’s Jim Smith reported, the clinic kicked off the U.S. Open, giving the public some pro tips, including from now-retired Murphy Jensen, a former French Open doubles champ, who said the clinic is inspirational to the kids who attended.
