CentralParkPatch.Com reports that Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Selena Gomez are among the bold-faced names set to headline this year's Global Citizens Festival in Central Park, that the organizers announced on Tuesday.
The concert is set for Sept. 24 on the Great Lawn. The festival is slated to start at 4 p.m. and last until 10 p.m. This is the fifth year the festival has been held by the Global Poverty Project.
The concert is free, but attendees must perform an "action" to get tickets to the event. This year, Global Citizen, the charity that runs the event, is directing those actions toward helping with education in developing countries and those affected by war and natural disasters.
