Tracey Wilson, part of New York Road Runners, has been cheering and directing runners toward the marathon’s end at Columbus Circle for more than a decade. She stays until the very end to inspire the final finishers, and the surrounding passerby's will stop to help as well.
“What I think is magical about Columbus Circle is that it is the final push to the finish line,” Wilson says. “It is that final place to dig deep and find a little more inside.”
