June 4th, 2026 - The All England Club is bringing grass court tennis to Central Park from Friday, June 26 through Monday, June 29. For the first time, Wollman Rink will be converted into a pop-up grass court, installed and tended by Wimbledon's own groundstaff. The event marks the fifth year Wimbledon has staged a New York celebration, following its previous run as The Hill in New York.
The opening day features The Wimbledon Court Invitational, an exhibition doubles match starting at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 26. Gates open at 11:00 AM and the opening ceremony begins at 1:30 PM. The match pairs Andre Agassi and Genie Bouchard against James Blake and Caroline Wozniacki.
On Saturday and Sunday, a number of fans win slots to play on the grass court themselves, with sessions presented by Barclays. All four days bring free clinics with coaches plus strawberries and cream, Pimm's, and Champagne Lanson.
Tickets and play slots were allotted through a public ballot, which has now closed. The event is still free and open to the public Friday afternoon through Monday with no ticket.
The event closes Monday, June 29 with giant screens broadcasting the opening day of The Championships live from Central Park.
