Have a swim in Central Park during the summer!
Lasker Rink and Pool is currently closed. The Central Park Conservancy is rebuilding the facility to better integrate into the landscape, offer new and enhanced outdoor activities, and increase access for communities around the north end of Central Park. Learn more here.
There is only one place to go swimming in Central Park, and that is Lasker Pool, located mid-park between 106th and 108th Streets. It features both a wading pool and Olympic-sized pool for visitors to enjoy.
The pool is currently closed.

Free swimming lessons and lap swim programs, as well as free sunscreen are available.
Since the pool is popular and busy during the summer, you must bring a lock to use on a locker in which you can store all of your belongings. The only items that are permitted poolside are a towel, shoes, book, and a water bottle.
Visit the Lasker Pool & Rink page for more details about the pool, swimming lessons, Lap Swim hours and more details!
