THINGS TO DO YEAR ROUND
Throughout the year you can take a guided tour of the park in a horse-drawn carriage, pedicab tour or on a bike tour, or if you're feeling independent you can rent a bike and tour around on your own.
Visit the Central Park Zoo or take a self-guided walking tour to familiarize yourself with some of the more well-known spots in the Park.
You can also have your own wedding in the park, stage a dream proposal, renew your wedding vows, or hold a special event.
For families, there are plenty of things to do with kids and over 20 children's playgrounds.
There are also a myriad of sports such as baseball, tennis and running that can be played in Central Park anytime.
SPRING & SUMMER
During the warmer months there are concerts presented by SummerStage, Good Morning America, The New York Philharmonic and others featuring a wide variety of genres for all music-lovers.
Seasonal plays and events like Shakespeare in the Park and the Central Park Film Festival are much-anticipated annual activities.
Take a relaxing yoga class on the grass or have a have a picnic with some friends.
See the cherry blossom trees throughout Central Park and visit many other beautiful flowers and plants inside of the Conservatory Garden.
FALL & WINTER
During the colder months, many people like to go ice skating at Wollman or Lasker Rink.
The Holiday Sights walking tour is a great way to see both a bit of Central Park and the surrounding areas of NYC that are all lit up with decorations and festivities during the holiday season.
