Visit the Central Park Zoo or take a self-guided Walking Tour to familiarize yourself with some of the more well-known spots in the Park.
You can also have your own wedding in the park, stage a dream proposal, renew your wedding vows, or hold a special event.
For families, there are plenty of great Children's Activities and over 20 Children's Playgrounds.
There are also a myriad of Sports such as baseball, tennis and running that can be played in Central Park throughout all of the seasons.
SPRING & SUMMER
During the warmer months there are Concerts presented by SummerStage, Good Morning America, The New York Philharmonic and others featuring a wide variety of genres for all music-lovers.
Seasonal plays and events are also abundant - with Shakespeare in the Park and the Central Park Film Festival as some of the most anticipated annual activities.
Check out the beautiful Cherry Blossom trees that bloom throughout Central Park and other beautiful flowers and plants that flourish within the Conservatory Garden.
Picnicking in Central Park is also very popular.
FALL & WINTER
During the colder months, many people like to go Ice Skating at Wollman or Lasker Rink.
